Fixed sights, with the "J.P. SAUER & SOHN, SUHL" and "CAL. 7,65" markings on the left side of the slide, "PATENT" on the right, "crown/N" on the right side of the frame, slide and muzzle, and a "SuS" monogram on the left grip panel. Included with the pistol is a signed and dated statement from Jim Cate, author of noted texts "J.P. Sauer & Sohn" Volumes I and II, which identifies this pistol by serial number as being formerly of his own private collection. In the statement, he says "Its serial number is the highest known Crown N nitro proofed Sauer that is known. It came in the original Sauer box with the accessories, which include: the original cleaning rod, spare magazine, exercise cartridges, and the aluminum box containing the oil bottle, cloth and waste that is used to clean the barrel, etc." Also with a Sauer Model H manual that features a row of five uniformed shooters on the cover.
