Factory letter confirms the revolver's Configuration: .44 Special , 7 1/2 inch round barrel, blue and case hardened finish, grip material and class "C" standard level American scroll engraving when shipped to Southern Gun Distributor Inc. in Opa-Locka, Florida on May 24, 1982. This was the only revolver in the shipment. Standard markings. With Colt hardwood case.

Excellent overall retaining 98% plus original blue finish and case colors with a small patch of finish loss in one of the cylinder flutes and a couple small hairline age cracks in the bottom of the grip panels. Mechanically excellent. Case is excellent with minimal storage and handling marks, and typical high edge wear in the lining.
