Engraved Hood Firearms Spur Trigger Revolver

Manufactured in the late 1870s. Approximately 50% coverage broad floral scroll engraving on a punch dot background with sunbursts ahead of the cylinder on the frame. Matching serial numbers on the barrel, cylinder, butt, and left grip. Provenance: The John Fox Collection

ConditionVery good, retaining 90% original nickel finish with some spots of light pitting on the cylinder, a cylinder drag line, and crisp engraving. Grips are also very good with some handling marks, slight flakes at the toe, and edge wear. Mechanically excellent.
