Manufactured from 1873 to 1897. German silver front blade and adjustable semi-buckhorn rear sights. The top barrel flat is marked "E. REMINGTON & SONS, ILION, N.Y." behind rear sight with the six line patent marking on the left side of the receiver. The matching serial number is marked on the lower tang and bottom barrel flat under the forearm. The bottom barrel flat is also marked "32" ahead of the forearm.
