Highly Attractive and Exceptional Casehardened Westley Richards Percussion Pepperbox Pistol

The frame features fine quality scroll engraving and is signed "WESTLEY/RICHARDS" on the left side and "IMPROVED/REVOLVING/PISTOL" on the right side. Additional engraving decorates the bar hammer, trigger guard and grip cap. The action is fitted with a sliding hammer safety. Each of the six barrels are numbered and each flute of the barrel cluster is British proofed. The one-piece grip features fine checkering, blank silver oval escutcheon and compartment butt cap. ConditionExcellent, retaining 90% plus vivid original case colors. 85% bright original high polished blue remains on the trigger guard. 60% original nitre blue remains on the safety and trigger. The engraving is crisp. The grip is excellent with crisp checkering overall. Mechanically excellent.
