Description:

The floral scroll and border engraved frame is signed "W. PRITCHARD/& SON." (William Pritchard & Son, Birmingham) on the left side. Additional engraving decorates the bar hammer and trigger guard. Shell pattern engraved on cap compartment. Each barrel is numbered and each barrel cluster flute is Birmingham proofed. Full fine checkering on the two-piece grips. Provenance: The Richard P. Mellon Collection

Rating Definition:

Fine, retaining 60% plus original case colors. 50% bright original high polished blue remains on the trigger guard. The grips are excellent with crisp checkering overall. Mechanically excellent.
