It features: Birmingham proofs, single nickel bead sight, lightly engraved doll's head concave rib marked "EDWINSON C. GREEN, CHELTENHAM, ENGd AGENTS G&A HAYDEN, JACKSONVILLE, IL.", engraving at the breech, modified chokes, 2 3/4 inch chambers, an extractor, checkered round knob grip stock with an engraved metal insert on the Schnabel tip, unmarked inscription panel on the underside of the stock and a checkered horn buttplate, and a 14 inch length of pull. Fine scroll engraving is also present on the frame and locks, and each lock is marked "E. C. GREEN" and engraved with a scene of a duck in flight.
Very fine. The barrels have strong Damascus patterns, a ding on the rear of the rib extension, and mild handling marks overall. Traces of case colors are present in the protected areas of the locks, and the balance has a silvered gray patina. A wide 2 inch crack is visible on the right side of the freshened buttstock, and there are some gaps and chips in the buttplate and mild dings overall. Mechanically very good.
