Manufactured in December of 1943, and later refitted as an M1D sniper rifle. While not explicitly documented as a Danish service weapon, some of the features suggest this was a Danish gun later returned to the U.S. Blade front and peep rear sights, with a Springfield "S-A-7-51" barrel, "SA" bolt, trigger housing, hammer, safety, and relief cut operating rod. The barrel is fitted with the distinctive scope mounting block, and the M84 scope bears a serial number of "982" on the data plate and "crown/FKF/nr942788" engraved on the tube, and is fitted with a sliding sun shield and a rubber eyepiece. The stock is marked with a circled serifed "P" on the wrist, with a "MRT/1 52" marked leather cheekpiece (brass screws not installed or included), a Danish "M/50" marked 'dope sheet' range card on the right side, and a checkered steel buttplate. Also included is a conical M2 flash hider.

Rating Definition:

Fine, with 80% of the arsenal refurbished parkerized finish, showing areas of gray patina, bright edge/cycling wear, and mild handling marks. The stock is very good, and shows a number of dents and scuffs, along with some chipping around the edges. The scope shows mild wear and scratching on the body, light cracking in the eyepiece, the adjustments are in fine order, optics crisp and reticle strong. Mechanically excellent.
