Both sights have on-board windage and elevation adjustments and are marked "PATENTED/GREAT BRITAIN/CANADA USA" on the staff. One is located in the conventional rear sight position with no markings on the base, the other is positioned towards the rear of the rear of the receiver on a bolted-on "U" shaped bridge marked to Canada Tool & Specialty, Ltd. The standard two-line marking is present on the frame, with British proofs and ".303/24 TONS/CANADIAN/PROOF" on the receiver ring. Smooth pistol grip stock, with "J.M:" cut into the left side, "BCDE" on the right, and a smooth metal buttplate.
