This is a semi-automatic version of the BM69 developed by the Italians after World War II. The BM59 rifles were very similar to the Springfield M-14 rifle with the BM69 similar to the M1A. Only about 1,500 were imported into the United States. The rifle is equipped with a flash suppressor/grenade launcher, a flip up grenade sight, a folding bipod and the standard M1 Garand sights. Mounted on a smooth walnut stock with folding wire stock. Magazine is absent.

Excellent overall, retaining 98% original parkerized finish with some minor handling marks. Stock is very fine with some scattered dings and scratches. Mechanically excellent.
