The receiver is non-factory drilled and tapped for sight mounting on the right with filler screws in place. Mounted with a smooth forearm and straight grip stock with a carbine buttplate. Accompanied by a letter from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives listing this carbine as being removed from the NFA (National Firearms Act) and classified as a curio and relic (dated 2 October 1981). Provenance: The Brandhorst Collection

Rating Definition:

Very good, retains 70% original blue on the receiver with the barrel and magazine tube refinished, the balance a smooth grey patina and some scattered patches of mild pitting. The refinished wood is also very good with a few minor dings and scratches, and some minor chips near the tangs. Mechanically excellent.
