The included factory letter confirms the 7 1/2 inch barrel in .32-20 caliber and blue finish. It was sold and shipped to Von Lengerke & Antoine of Chicago, IL on January 9, 1925. Standard one-line address on top of the barrel and caliber marking on the left, two-line patent dates followed by the circled Rampant Colt on the left of the frame, and matching serial numbers on the frame, trigger guard, back strap, and both grip panels. The rear face of the correct period replacement cylinder is numbered "53" which does not correspond to the revolver number "345763".
Very fine, retaining 85% original blue finish and 80% original case colors with handling marks a cylinder drag line, a chip out of the left grip toe, and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
