Very fine, retaining 95% plus original blue with an area of reapplied blue near the left breech, 75% original case colors with much of the original varnish remaining as well, light handling evidence, and some areas showing minor spotting. The wood is also very fine with a few minor marks/dings, a few insect holes in the heel of the buttplate, and sharp checkering. The scope optics are clear. Mechanically excellent.
