Proofed at the Birmingham proof house (proof date indistinct). Blued steel barrels with raised, matted solid rib, "Webley & SCOTT ENGLAND" and "SERVICE ARMAMENT Co. RIDGEFIELD. NJ." on the right and left barrels respectively, and chambers marked 3 inches with ejectors. The boxlock action shows fine scrollwork with "WEBLEY & SCOTT" on either side and features double triggers and automatic tang mounted safety switch. Beautifully figured, multi-point checkered walnut splinter forend with Anson button release and engraved fittings and straight grip stock with blank inscription oval and checkered bare butt. Includes a canvas bound takedown case with cleaning rod, cleaning tools, one 20 gauge to .410 bore chamber insert, and two nickel snap caps. Stock measurements: 1 5/16 inch drop at comb; 2 1/8 inch drop at heel; 14 3/4 inch length of pull; weight 5 lbs 13 oz.
