Produced in limited quantities (approximately 3248) between 1944 and 1946. Blade front and elevation adjustable peep rear sights, with the 3-line model and address markings atop the receiver, "PH" on the breech, and the "SAFE S.A." selector markings on the right side. Smooth pistol grip stock, with a ribbed steel buttplate. Magazine absent.

Very fine, with 95% of the original parkerized finish on the barrel, receiver, and magazine well, showing some thin spots and handling marks. Some rust is present on the sling swivels and buttplate, with heavier finished-over pitting on the latter. The trigger guard is a reblued replacement. The reoiled stock is fine, with mild scattered dings and scratches. Mechanically excellent.
