Manufactured in January of 1944 on contract for the U.S. government, subsequently arsenal refurbished and then restored to World War II specification. Standard blade front and fully adjustable rear peep sights with "NI- C" elevation and "DRC"/"IHC" windage drums, Winchester barrel with the "WP" proof on the chamber, and "W.R.A." marked bolt, trigger guard, hammer, safety, trigger housing, and relief cut operating rod. The stock bears the enhanced "W.R.A./G.H.D." cartouche on the left side and "W136" on the underside of the pistol grip, with a green canvas sling and a checkered steel buttplate.
Fine, with 70% of the arsenal refurbished parkerized finish, showing bright gray on the gas cylinder, bright edge wear, and scattered dings and handling marks. The reoiled wood is very good, with a number of scuffs, scratches and dents. Mechanically excellent.
