Description:

Developed in 1944, the M1C was the first sniper variant of the Springfield Armory M1 Garand rifle. The serial number tracks to being manufactured in October or November 1944, with a Springfield barrel dated "8-45". Blade and peep sights, with a "SA" bolt, trigger guard, trigger housing, hammer, safety, and uncut operating rod. The rail is renumbered "3276204" to match the receiver on the underside, with the Griffin & Howe marked ring set numbered "3641774" and a "109" numbered M82 scope. A "SA" marked M2 flash hider is also included. The stock has "crossed cannons" and "SA/EMcF" cartouches, a K-Line marked cheekpiece (screws not installed or included), a leather sling and a checkered steel buttplate.

Rating Definition:

Fine with rewelded receiver, with 95% of the refinished parkerized finish, showing edge and cycling wear along with some mild handling marks. The stock is excellent. with some light scratches and dents. The scope shows some mild exterior wear, with crisp optics. Mechanically good.
