Manufactured in 1956 and subsequently engraved and gold inlaid by Master Engraver Angelo Bee. Single gold inlaid bands are featured on the barrel at the muzzle and breech. The Winchester factory oval proofs are in gold on the barrel and receiver. The serial numbers are also in gold. The receiver and trigger guard are decorated with profuse floral scroll designs on a punch dot background. There is gold inlaid wire bordering on the receiver. Each side of the receiver has an oval gold inlaid bordered panel with gold inlays: a buffalo on the left and a bust of a Native American on the right. Gold inlaid eagle in a mountain scene appears on top of the receiver. The panel scene on the left side is signed "ABEE" along with Bee's famous bee. Standard barrel markings, blade front and adjustable rear sporting rear sights and highly figured and fluer-de-lis checkered forearm and straight grip stock.
Exceptionally fine overall as elaborately embellished by renowned Master Engraver Angelo Bee with 99% plus of the blue finish remaining, very minimal minor handling marks and crisp stock checkering. Mechanically excellent.
