Description:

Manufactured in 1932. Round blade front and fixed square notch rear sights, two-line address and patent marking on the left side of the matching numbered slide, "NATIONAL MATCH" nomenclature and caliber marking on the right followed by the Rampant Colt logo, standard factory inspection marks on the frame, short, checkered milled trigger, checkered slide catch, magazine catch, thumb safety, wide spur hammer, and arched mainspring housing. The barrel has a polished chamber and circled "M.B." on the lug. Fitted with correct checkered grips and a two-tone blue magazine marked "COLT/45 AUTO" on the base. The included factory letter confirms the current configuration (grips not listed) as well as shipment to Wolf & Klar Wholesale Hardware in Fort Worth, Texas on 22 September 1932.

Rating Definition:

Excellent, retains 97% plus of the original blue finish with minor muzzle edge wear, some scattered light handling marks, and a very faint takedown mark. The grips are also excellent with a few scattered very light blemishes in the overall crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
