Description:

This is a solid representative example of an Inland M1A1 Paratrooper Carbine as configured in World War II. "S" blade front and two-leaf peep rear sights, with a "7-43" dated Inland barrel and a Type I barrel band. Flat blued bolt, milled "INLAND" trigger housing, unmarked button safety, "PI" operating rod, "HI" magazine catch, "NI" hammer and a "R.I." sear. The main stock body is of the two-rivet, correct high wood configuration, with a circled "P" on the rear, "crossed cannons" on the grip, brass rivets on the leather cheekpiece, tan canvas sling and a swiveling spring-loaded buttplate with proper casting marks. "AI" marked magazine.

Rating Definition:

Very fine, with 60% of the parkerized finish, showing a mixed gray patina on the barrel and mild handling marks overall. The bolt has 50% of the original blue. The stock is fine, with mild scuffs and dents on the wood, and some scratches and verdigris buildup on the leather. Mechanically excellent.
