The main stock body is of the four-rivet, low wood configuration, with an "IO" handguard, "RIA/EB" cartouche on the left side, two uncircled "P" stamps on the front of the grip, "crossed cannons" on the right, "R.I./3" on the bottom, leather cheekpad with steel rivets, tan canvas sling, and swiveling spring-loaded buttplate with proper casting marks. Oiler absent.

Rating Definition:

Very fine, with 95% plus original parkerized finish (except for the replaced operating rod), showing some light wear and handling marks overall. The bolt retains 70% bright original blue. The stock is also very fine, with a small hairline crack in the rear of the handguard and scattered dents and scratches. The cheekpiece shows some tearing and scuffing. Mechanically excellent.
