Rating Definition:

Fine, retaining 40% original blue finish with the balance a smooth gray patina and some pitting on the buttplate. 20% original nitre blue remains on the loading gate. The refinished wood is very good with a couple of hairline cracks, a couple filled repairs and scattered minor handling marks. Mechanically excellent.
