Manufactured by Toyo Kogyo, the left side of the receiver is marked with the "Series 33" marking, serial number, and Toyo Kogyo markings. The top of the receiver has a complete chrysanthemum and the Type 99 markings. The partial serial number "964" is marked on the bolt handle. Fitted with blade and folding ladder sights (absent anti-aircraft wings) and a dust cover numbered "634" on the bolt. Mounted with a finger grooved and pistol grip stock with a smooth buttplate. Includes a canvas sling.

Excellent plus, as issued, retains 98% plus of the original blue finish with some very slight muzzle edge wear and a few scattered very light handling marks. The wood is also excellent with a few scattered minor dings and scratches. Mechanically excellent.
