This revolver features blade front and top strap notch rear sights, a smooth trigger, checkered hammer, walnut S&W medallion grips, and nearly 80% coverage floral scroll engraving executed by J.W. Thompson. Thompson's signature can be found on the right of the grip frame under the grips. Due to a factory error, the frame of this revolver is stamped as a Model 68-1 with the box listing it as the proper Model 681. The barrel is correctly marked for .357 Magnum ammunition. Includes the original box.

Excellent overall with limited handling marks, a light cylinder drag line, crisp engraving, and crisp grip checkering. Mechanically excellent. Box is very good with some storage and handling marks.
