Built on a Model 98 style action, the only markings on this rifle are "300 Win Mag" in script letters on the top left flat of the barrel and the serial number on the left of the front receiver ring. The rifle features a mostly octagon barrel which transitions to round just before the chamber. The top flat features a raised gold bar blade front sight with a raised quarter rib holding a three leaf express rear sight (only the closest has a sight notch). The receiver and quarter rib are fitted with bases for a claw scope mount system allowing the included Zeiss Diatal-z 6x42 scope to mounted on the rifle. The action is mounted into a checkered straight grain walnut pistol grip stock with ebony forend tip, Swiss cheekpiece, blank initial oval, and Pachmayr recoil pad. The inside of the stock is marked "J.C./Tucker".
Excellent, retaining 97% blue finish with handling some high edge wear on the barrel and some thinning on the bottom metal and bolt handle. The stock is also excellent with scattered dings and scratches, and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. Scope is very fine with clear optics.
