Receiver manufactured in 1903. Replacement (post-1911) barrel with tenth style inscription, beaded blade front and elevation adjustable rear notch sights, restamped "WP" proof on barrel at the breech, magazine tube with reinforcing collar, Second Model casehardened receiver with hidden locking lugs, and three-line maker, model, and patent marking on the upper tang. 12 groove slide handle and plain walnut straight grip stock with casehardened crescent buttplate.
Very fine as professionally refurbished. The receiver exhibits 95% vibrant case colors with some mild edge wear, and thin coat of protective varnish. The wood is also very fine with some small dings and scratches, an most of the original colors on the buttplate. Mechanically excellent.
