Rating Definition:

Very good with some scattered light pitting, and mostly clear markings in the metal. Stock is also very good with scattered light scratches, a crack on either end of the lock, a crack above the side plate, and various small chips around the buttplate. Mechanically excellent. Included bayonet is also very good with scattered light pitting and sharp edges, sling is also very good with some light cracking. A rare combination in having a matching serial numbered bayonet to accompany this attractive U.S. Springfield Model 1812 musket!
