Fine with 40% original blue finish remaining on the barrel, much of the original gilt finish remaining in the engraving and in the more protected areas of the lock and furniture, attractive aged patina on the exposed brass, and generally minor overall wear including some faint oxidation. The stock is fair and has repairs in the forend and wrist, a few thin cracks, occasional dings and scratches, some small chips and flakes at the edges, and general moderate overall wear.
