It has a smoothbore Damascus barrel with flared "cannon" muzzle, gold inlays at the muzzle section and breech, including an untranslated sunken maker's type mark, and grooved sights. The barrel bands and extensive accent plates are engraved silver. The miquelet lock has a untranslated marking on the silver accent plate and three coral bead accents.
