Description:

It has a smoothbore Damascus barrel with flared "cannon" muzzle, gold inlays at the muzzle section and breech, including an untranslated sunken maker's type mark, and grooved sights. The barrel bands and extensive accent plates are engraved silver. The miquelet lock has a untranslated marking on the silver accent plate and three coral bead accents. The straps along the top of the butt also have a long untranslated inscription. Provenance: The Tom Lewis Collection

Rating Definition:

Fine with twist patterns, gray and brown patina, and mild oxidation on the barrel; brown patina on the iron on the lock, aged patina on the silver throughout, loose upper tang, and mild overall wear. The stock is good and has a loose butt section, repaired crack in the wrist, a few missing pins, and mild wear. Mechanically fine.
