Rating Definition:

Fine, retains most of the vibrant period refurbished browned Damascus patterns on the barrel, faint case colors on the lock and breech, and 75% of the original blue on the remainder, with the balance having thinned to mostly a smooth grey patina. The stock is also fine with some scattered minor dings and scratches and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. The case is very good with some minor staining, minor handling/storage evidence, and a few splitting seams. The fine flask shows mild wear on the leather cover and an attractive antique brass patina.
