HAUPTMANN" marked on the right barrel, "ANTINIT" and "FERLACH" marked on the left barrel, standard Ferlach proofs, and 70 mm (2 3/4 inch) chambers with automatic ejectors. The coin finished boxlock action features attractive scroll and floral engraved designs with matching designs on the trigger guard and tangs. Gold inlaid "LAD" monogram on the trigger guard. Double triggers and an automatic tang mounted safety with gold inlaid "S". Lightly figured, multi-point checkered splinter forend with engraved fittings including the Deeley latch release and pistol grip stock with cheekpiece and leather wrapped recoil pad. Includes a leather takedown case and an extra matching numbered set of barrels measuring 30 1/2 inches with 2 3/4 inch chambers and matching markings. Barrel measurements for extra set (R/L): bore diameter nine inches from the breech both measured at .721 inches; choke constriction .018/.036 inches; minimum wall thickness .030/.027 inches. Excellent, retaining 98% original blue and coin finishes, areas of light staining on the action, and minor handling evidence. The stock is very fine with scattered light dings and scratches and crisp checkering. The case is very good with a broken strap. The extra barrels are excellent. Mechanically excellent.
