The French grey scalloped boxlock action displays light floral scroll engraving with near full coverage on the fences. The gun features double triggers and a manual tang mounted safety switch. Lightly figured, multi-point checkered splinter forend with engraved fittings including the Anson button style release and straight grip stock with a serrated buttplate. Very fine, retaining 97% original blue finish, 85% French grey finish, scattered light spotting, some light oil staining and light handling evidence. The wood is very good, showing some pressure dents and scratches, a slightly loose forend, and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
