The coin finished sidelock action displays extensive floral scroll engraving surrounding three game scenes. The left shows three pronghorn antelope on the plains along with a pair of prairie dogs, the right has four bighorn sheep in a mountain scene, and the underside shows a mountain goat on a rock outcrop. The triggerplate is signed "R. CAPECE". The gun features bushed firing pins, double triggers, and tang mounted manual safety switch with gold inlaid "S". Beautifully figured, multi-point checkered splinter forend with engraved fittings including the Anson button style release and pistol grip stock with engraved trapdoor grip cap, cheekpiece, and checkered bare butt.
