This is an example of a Springfield Armory manufactured 1903 National Match Bolt Action Rifle. The top of the bolt handle is stamped "W L/3" and is fitted with a "headless" cocking piece. Smooth pistol grip NB style stock, with a circled "P" on the unique pistol grip, a "GDM" collection mark near the toe, brown leather sling and a sharply checkered buttplate. A P.J. O'Hare rear sight protector is included. Provenance: The George Moller Collection

Rating Definition:

Very fine, with 95% of the original parkerized finish, showing areas of brown patina and mild handling marks overall. The refinished stock is very good as repaired, with filler applied around the buttplate heel, a hairline crack in the top of the wrist, and mild scuffs and dings overall. Mechanically excellent.
