Single bead sight, 2 3/4 inch chamber, and Cutts Compensator with cylinder choke. The barrel is stamped "U.S." and "flaming bomb", and the receiver is stamped "U.S.", flaming bomb" and "MILITARY FINISH." The receiver also shows standard commercial engraving. Smooth pistol grip stock with the crossed cannons stamp, a partial "FJA" cartouche, a Pennsylvania State Police inventory tag, and a serrated Remington buttplate. These shotguns were used by the U.S. military for training soldiers on hitting moving targets for aerial gunnery. Length of pull is 14 inches.
Very fine, retaining 85% plus arsenal parkerized finish, some streaking on the barrel, some mild discoloration, and scattered minor spotting. The wood is also very fine with scattered light marks and some fading of the cartouches. Mechanically excellent.
