Blade front and notch rear sights, the "41" date on the chamber and "byf" factory code on the front toggle link. "Eagle" firing proofs are present on the barrel, breech block and extension, and the barrel and extension are also stamped with "eagle/655" proofs. Full blue finish, with checkered "black widow" style grips and military pattern serialization (grips and mags unmarked, rest matching). Two blued "fxo" magazines with black plastic bases are included, as is a "dtu.41" marked black leather holster and an "Eagle/655" marked takedown tool. The interior of the holster flap is pencil marked with what appears to be a service or social security number. Provenance: The Doug Ellison Collection
Very fine, with 85% of the original blue finish, showing bright edge wear, scattered light pitting on the left side of the frame and grip straps, and light handling marks overall. The grips are very good, with minor chipping along the lower edge and some mild dings. The holster is fair, with the end of the lifter strap absent and cracking overall. Mechanically excellent.
