Fitted with two piece smooth wooden grips with a bull buffalo head in an arrow head motif at the top of each. Complete with a wood display case with three .45-70 dummy rounds, a matching bronze bull grip motif on the lid, and a red velvet interior. The wood case is nested inside another wood case with a white fur lining. Provenance: The Buckstix Collection
Very fine, retaining nearly 97% original blue finish with scattered handling marks, some gray on the barrel at breach, and a faint cylinder drag line. The brass surfaces have an attractive appearance with dark speckling mostly on the right side of the frame and hammer. The grips are excellent with very limited handling evidence. Mechanically excellent. Golden Buffalo case is excellent with minimal storage and handling marks.
