Manufactured after 1906 with a special order extra length 32 inch round barrel. A 24 inch barrel was standard for this model. This exact rifle is pictured and identified in Brophy's "Marlin Firearms" on page 187. The barrel is stamped with two-line address/patent dates marking ahead of the rear sight. The barrel is fitted with a blade front sight and an elevation adjustable semi-buckhorn rear sight. The upper tang is marked "Marlin/'92." Factory sling swivels are mounted on the underside of the forend cap and buttstock. The top of the receiver and tang have been factory drilled and tapped for sight mounting. The straight grip stock is fitted with an S-shaped steel buttplate. Provenance: The Milan J. Turk Collection
