An estimated 25,000 of these derringers were manufactured c.1867-1888 split between .22 RF and .32 RF like this example. It has the matching serial number on the bottom of the action and barrel, a post blade sight, the address and patent markings on the barrel, and smooth rosewood grips. Provenance: The Milan J. Extremely fine, retaining 95% untouched original nickel plating with minimal scattered flaking. Trigger has faded to a brown. The refinished grips are fine with a notch on the right panel, otherwise limited handling marks and most of the varnish remaining. Mechanically excellent.
