Description:

Manufactured 1859 to 1874. The C. Sharps & Co. Philadelphia address is marked on the right, and the 1850 patent date is on the left, both is circular format, and the serial number is marked on the butt. It is fitted with a pair of floral pattern gutta percha grips. Provenance: The Milan J. Turk Collection

Rating Definition:

Fine, retains 30% of the original blue on the barrels with the balance mostly a smooth grey patina and 75% plus of the original silver which shows an attractive antique patina. The grips are also fine, showing slight variation in color between the two panels and minimal handling evidence. Mechanically excellent.
