Manufactured in 1875, the top of the barrel is marked "COLTS PT.F.A.MFG CO/HARTFORD, CT. U.S.A." flaked by Maltese crosses, and the left side of the frame is marked "22 CAL". The matching serial number is marked on the bottom of the barrel lug and on the butt. Blade front and frame notch rear sights, seven round unfluted cylinder, all nickel finish with niter blue screws and fitted with smooth two piece varnished grips. Provenance: The Milan J. Turk Collection
Excellent. The revolver retains 98% of the untouched original nickel finish with some speckled flaking on the left rear of the barrel and on the barrel lug and minor flaking on the trigger. There are a few minor scratches and dings. Most of the faded original niter finish remains on the screw heads. The grips are excellent with 95% original varnish, some lower edge wear and a couple of very small minor dents. The markings are crisp and clear. Mechanically excellent.
