Produced circa 1870-1890. Blade front and hammer notch rear sights, with the two line Hartford barrel address and "No1", flanked by Maltese crosses, on top of the barrel, and crown "V" and "GP" London proofs on the underside ahead of the serial number. Light scroll engraving on the barrel and frame, with checkered hammer and trigger, and checkered oval panels on the grip area. Provenance: The Milan J. Turk Collection
Excellent, with 95% plus of the untouched original nickel finish, showing a few areas of flaking and mild handling marks overall. A gray patina is showing in the exposed areas. Mechanically excellent. You seldom find Number One Colt Derringers in excellent condition like this exceptional example!
