Manufactured in 1912. Standard markings and features of a Flattop New Service in addition to the British proofs on the barrel frame, and cylinder flutes. The revolver has matching serial numbers on the frame and crane. The factory checkered grips appear to be replacements from another New Service revolver. Provenance: The Milan J. Turk Collection
Excellent, retaining 90% plus bright original high polish blue finish, numerous scratches and dings, light cylinder drag lines, a rub at the left muzzle, and light handling evidence. The grips are very fine with a small chip in the right toe and sharp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
