German silver blade front and elevation adjustable rear sights, bands of engraving at the muzzle and barrel transition. The gun shows no markings besides those below the stock on the tangs. The fancy figured forend features a casehardened Schnabel tip and the straight grip stock shows a casehardened buttplate. It has been suggested that rifles such as this one were built for exhibition. Provenance: The Milan J. Turk Collection
Excellent, retaining 97% original blue finish with a slight brown coloration, 95% vivid original case colors with some silvering on the trigger guard, and light handling evidence. The stock is very fine with a few light scratches. Mechanically excellent.
