Blade front and adjustable folding rear sights and a bayonet lug on the barrel. "AMERICAN BOY SCOUT" marked on the left of the action. Military "musket" style handguard and straight grip stock with metal buttplate. One of only approximately 1,500 manufactured around 1913-1914. Provenance: The Milan J. Turk Collection
Very fine overall, retaining 80% plus original blue finish, 65% original case colors with some muting and silvering, scattered minor spotting, and slightly undersized buttplate on the otherwise fine wood. Mechanically excellent.
