Marlin Model 37 Slide Action Rifle

Manufactured 1913-1916. Features beaded blade front and elevation adjustable rear sights, standard barrel legend on top of the barrel and caliber marked on the left side at the chamber, top tang marked "Marlin/MOD. 37" and with the Marlin star inspector mark, serial number on the lower tang, ribbed slide grip and straight grip stock. Provenance: The Milan J. Turk Collection

ConditionVery fine, retaining 90% original blue finish with scattered handling marks and slide retraction marks. Forend is very good with most of the varnish remaining and scattered dings and scratches. Stock is fine with a crack coming off the top tang, a hairline crack coming off the bottom tang, crazing in the varnish, and dings and scratches. Mechanically fine.
