Marlin Model 27 Slide Action Rifle

Manufactured from 1909-1932. Blade front and adjustable rear sights, with two line address/patent date marking ahead of rear sight, "32-20" at the breech, and "SPECIAL SMOKELESS STEEL" on the upper left flat. Receiver tapped for sight mounting, with model marking on upper tang, grooved forearm and smooth straight grip stock with crescent buttplate. Provenance: The Milan J. Turk Collection

ConditionVery good, retaining 30% original blue finish with thinning to a brown and gray patina on the balance with handling marks, scattered spotting and a few scratches. Stock is very good with handling marks, scattered dings and scratches, and some touch up varnish on the left side. Mechanically excellent.
