Excellent Marlin Model 38 Slide Action Rifle

Manufactured 1920-1930. The rifle features a Lyman hooded front, folding notch rear, and tang peep sights, standard barrel inscription on the top barrel flat with the caliber marking on the upper left flat at the breech. Mounted with an 8 rib forend and smooth buttstock. Provenance: The Milan J. Turk Collection

ConditionExcellent overall, retaining 90% plus original blue finish with thinning to brown on the balance and slide retraction marks. Wood is very fine with scattered handling marks, crazing, and a few dings and scratches. Mechanically excellent.
