Manufactured 1907-1932. This rifle features beaded blade front sight and elevation adjustable rear sights, standard barrel inscription on the top flat with no caliber marking and "MARLIN/No. 20-S" on the upper tang. Mounted on a nine rib forearm and smooth straight grip stock with crescent buttplate. Number 3542 on left upper tang under the replaced buttstock number 673 with buttplate number 19.
Fine, retaining 75% thin original blue finish on the barrel and magazine with 80% bright original blue on the frame with the balance a smooth brown patina, a small spot of light pitting by one of the frame screws on the left side, and otherwise minor handling marks. Wood is also fine with scattered light dings and scratches. Mechanically excellent.

The rifle features a Marble beaded blade front, folding notch rear, and tang peep sights, standard barrel inscription on the top barrel flat with the caliber marking on the upper left flat at the breech. Fine, retaining 75% original blue finish with some fading on the receiver, scattered light handling marks. Wood is very good as refurbished with scattered light handling marks and a few dings and scratches. Mechanically excellent.
