Approximately 6,000 were manufactured between 1884-1903. It has a bead style blade front sight, adjustable notch rear sight, the two line Stevens A. & T. address and patent marking on the upper left flat, a spurred trigger guard, serrated trigger, checkered walnut grips, and a weighted buttcap.

Rating Definition:

Fine, retaining 95% thinning period refinished blue finish on the barrel with sharp markings, and 85% original nickel finish on the frame and trigger guard with some light flaking. Grips are very fine with crisp checkering and a few light chips and scratches. Mechanically excellent.

Approximately 70,000 were manufactured between 1896-1916. It has a bead style blade front sight, screw adjustable notch rear sight, the two line Stevens A. & T. address and patent marking on the upper left flat, and smooth walnut grips.

Rating Definition:

Very fine, retaining 85% original blue finish on the barrel with sharp markings, and 97% original nickel finish on the frame and trigger guard with scattered light handling marks. Grips are also very fine with a few light nicks at the bottom edges. Mechanically excellent.

Rating Definition:

Very good, retaining 60% plus original blue finish on the barrel with smooth brown patina on the balance and sharp markings, and 85% original nickel finish on the frame with some light flaking and some light dulling. Grips are also fine with some scattered light scratches and chips, and some light crazing at the bottom edges. Mechanically excellent.
